| Root Feeders originated in 1990. The company designed, developed and patented a Dry Granular Deep Root Feeder for Trees and Shrubs. This device is still used to deep root fertilize thousands of plants every year. Services in the early years revolved around maintenance functions and Organic Lawn Care. We started to give continuing education seminars around that time.
Over the years customers wanted plants planted, designs drawn and structures built. With the education background of the owner, these functions started to dominate the work load. Pretty soon, Design, Build, and Education became the company focus. Customers also liked the idea that, unlike many companies, Root Feeders, Inc. gives a level of personal care and provides creativity not normally expected in the somewhat cookie cutter world of the Landscape Industry.
Our company likes to share our knowledge with the public. The feeling is that much of the information in the landscape industry seems like another language to many people. So we have taken it upon ourselves to make the complicated simple and understandable.
