I have accepted the task to create, design and coordinate a new garden concept at the 2012 Chicago Flower & Garden Show. We will create an exhibit/garden which will follow this year's show theme 'Hort Couture - Color, Texture and Design." Our overall goal will be to educate the more than 60,000+ attendees with advances in green innovations, sustainability and urban quality of life issues, which will allow humans to continue to inhabit planet earth. EXHIBIT/GARDEN LAYOUT: 40' x 54' Area containing a Living Fence, topped by Outdoor Stained Glass Panels, Aquaponics, Multi-use Green Roofs, Biodiversity in Urban Spaces, Bamboo Fencing, Native Infusion Landscaping and Negative Aesthetic Reduction programs, and the central element of all Biodiversity - Water. There are many other innovative ideas included in the layout and more will be added as space allows. (New Floor Design JPEG coming soon.)
